Mary Jane Kelly
Mary Jane Kelly was a woman who lived in London during the late 19th century. She is best known as the last and most widely recognized victim of the infamous serial killer known as Jack the Ripper. Kelly was born in Ireland around 1863 and moved to London, where she struggled with poverty and a difficult life.
On November 9, 1888, Kelly was brutally murdered in her home on Miller's Court in the Whitechapel district. Her death was particularly gruesome, and it shocked the public and the police.
