Martha of Sweden
Martha of Sweden, born in 1889, was a Swedish princess and the daughter of Prince Carl, Duke of Västergötland and Princess Ingeborg of Sweden. She became known for her marriage to Prince Louis of Sweden, which connected her to the Swedish royal family. Martha was also involved in various charitable activities throughout her life.
During her time in the United States, Martha played a significant role in promoting Swedish culture and fostering goodwill between Sweden and the U.S. She was particularly active during World War II, helping to raise funds for humanitarian efforts. Martha passed away in 1974.
