Marshall Scholars
The Marshall Scholarship is a prestigious award that enables American students to pursue graduate studies in the United Kingdom. Established in 1953, it honors U.S. Secretary of State George C. Marshall and aims to strengthen the relationship between the U.S. and the U.K. Scholars are selected based on their academic merit, leadership potential, and commitment to service.
Each year, around 40 Marshall Scholars are chosen to study at various British universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. The scholarship covers tuition, living expenses, and travel costs, allowing recipients to focus on their studies and cultural experiences while abroad.
