Mars Rover Perseverance
The Mars Rover Perseverance is a robotic vehicle designed to explore the surface of Mars. Launched by NASA on July 30, 2020, it landed in the Jezero Crater on February 18, 2021. Its primary mission is to search for signs of ancient life and collect rock and soil samples for future return to Earth.
Equipped with advanced scientific instruments, Perseverance can analyze the Martian environment and test new technologies for future exploration. It also carries the Ingenuity helicopter, which successfully demonstrated powered flight on another planet, paving the way for aerial exploration of Mars.
