Mars Hill Church
Mars Hill Church was a multi-campus Christian church based in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 1996 by Mark Driscoll, it grew rapidly and became known for its contemporary worship style and focus on biblical teaching. At its peak, the church had several locations and thousands of attendees.
In 2014, Mars Hill Church faced significant controversies, including leadership issues and allegations of abusive practices. These challenges led to the church's dissolution later that year. Despite its closure, Mars Hill Church remains a notable example of the rise and fall of megachurches in the United States.
