Mark II Computer
The Mark II Computer, also known as the Harvard Mark II, was an early electromechanical computer developed at Harvard University in the 1940s. It was designed to perform complex calculations and was an improvement over its predecessor, the Harvard Mark I. The Mark II used a combination of mechanical and electrical components to process data and execute instructions.
Completed in 1947, the Mark II was used primarily for scientific calculations and military applications. It featured a series of relays and switches, allowing it to perform operations automatically. The machine played a significant role in the development of computing technology and laid the groundwork for future computers.
