Marina City
Marina City is a mixed-use residential and commercial complex located in Chicago, Illinois. Completed in 1964, it consists of two iconic cylindrical towers that rise 65 stories high. The complex features apartments, offices, restaurants, and a marina, making it a vibrant part of the city's landscape.
Designed by architect Bertrand Goldberg, Marina City is known for its unique architectural style and innovative use of space. The towers are often referred to as "corncobs" due to their shape. The development was one of the first to integrate living and working spaces, setting a precedent for urban design in high-density areas.
