Marie-Josèphe de Savoie
Marie-Josèphe de Savoie was born on December 8, 1753, in Turin, Italy. She was a member of the House of Savoy and became the Queen of France by marriage to Louis XVI in 1770. Her life was marked by the political turmoil of the French Revolution, which ultimately led to her husband's execution in 1793.
After the fall of the monarchy, Marie-Josèphe faced significant challenges. She was imprisoned and later exiled, living in various locations in Europe. Despite her hardships, she remained a symbol of the royal legacy of the House of Savoy until her death on May 13, 1810.
