Maria Louisa of Bulgaria
Maria Louisa of Bulgaria was a Bulgarian princess born on December 12, 1870. She was the daughter of Ferdinand I of Bulgaria, the first monarch of modern Bulgaria, and Princess Maria Louise of Bourbon. Maria Louisa played a significant role in the royal family and was known for her contributions to Bulgarian culture and society.
In 1893, she married Prince Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, who later became the Tsar of Bulgaria. Maria Louisa became the Tsarina and was involved in various charitable activities. She passed away on September 7, 1899, leaving a lasting legacy in Bulgarian history.
