Margraviate of Ansbach
The Margraviate of Ansbach was a historical territory in what is now southern Germany. It was part of the larger region known as the Holy Roman Empire and was established in the 13th century. The margraviate was ruled by the House of Hohenzollern, which played a significant role in the political landscape of the time.
Ansbach served as the capital of the margraviate and was known for its cultural and architectural heritage. The territory was eventually incorporated into the Kingdom of Bavaria in the early 19th century, following the dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire in 1806.
