Mantegna
Andrea Mantegna was an Italian painter and engraver born around 1431 in Isola di Cartura, near Padua. He is known for his innovative use of perspective and dramatic compositions, which greatly influenced the development of Renaissance art. Mantegna's works often featured classical themes and were characterized by their detailed figures and rich colors.
One of his most famous works is the Camera degli Sposi, a ceiling fresco located in the Ducal Palace of Mantua.
