Mansi Language
The Mansi language is a Uralic language spoken by the Mansi people, an indigenous group in western Siberia, Russia. It is part of the Ob-Ugric branch, which also includes the Khanty language. Mansi has several dialects, reflecting the diverse regions where its speakers live.
Mansi is primarily used in everyday communication among the Mansi people, but it faces challenges due to declining numbers of speakers. Efforts are being made to revitalize the language through education and cultural initiatives, as it is an important part of the Mansi people's identity and heritage.
