Manolis Andronikos
Manolis Andronikos was a prominent Greek archaeologist known for his significant contributions to the study of ancient Macedonia. Born in 1919, he gained international recognition for his discovery of the royal tombs at Vergina in 1977, which are believed to belong to the ancient Macedonian kings, including Philip II, the father of Alexander the Great.
