Manchu language
The Manchu language is a Tungusic language historically spoken by the Manchu people in northeastern China. It was the official language of the Qing Dynasty, which ruled China from 1644 to 1912. Although it was once widely used, the number of fluent speakers has significantly declined, and it is now considered endangered.
Manchu is written in a script derived from the Uighur script, which is itself based on the Arabic script. Efforts to revitalize the language include educational programs and cultural initiatives aimed at preserving the heritage of the Manchu people.
