Maliki Fiqh
Maliki Fiqh is one of the four major schools of Islamic jurisprudence, or fiqh, within Sunni Islam. Founded by the scholar Malik ibn Anas in the 8th century, it emphasizes the practices of the people of Medina as a primary source of law, alongside the Qur'an and Hadith.
This school is particularly influential in North and West Africa, where it shapes legal and social norms. Maliki Fiqh is known for its flexibility and adaptability, allowing for local customs and practices to be integrated into Islamic law, making it relevant to diverse communities.
