Malcolm IV of Scotland
Malcolm IV of Scotland was a king who reigned from 1153 to 1165. He became king at a young age, around 12 years old, after the death of his grandfather, David I of Scotland. His reign was marked by efforts to strengthen the Scottish monarchy and maintain peace with neighboring England.
Despite his youth, Malcolm IV faced challenges, including conflicts with the English crown and internal disputes among the Scottish nobility. He was known for his piety and was sometimes called "Malcolm the Maiden" due to his chastity. He died in 1165, leaving the throne to his brother, William the Lion.
