Malayan tigers
The Malayan tiger is a subspecies of tiger found primarily in the forests of the Malay Peninsula. It is smaller than other tiger subspecies, with males weighing between 110 to 140 pounds. Their distinctive orange coat features black stripes, which help them blend into their forest habitat.
These tigers are solitary animals, primarily hunting at night. Their diet mainly consists of deer, wild boar, and other small mammals. Unfortunately, the Malayan tiger is classified as endangered due to habitat loss and poaching, with efforts underway to protect their remaining populations in the wild.
