Malayan Tigers
The Malayan tiger is a subspecies of tiger found primarily in the forests of the Malay Peninsula. It is smaller than other tiger subspecies, with males weighing between 120 to 180 pounds. These tigers have a distinctive coat with dark stripes on a reddish-orange background, which helps them blend into their forest habitat.
Malayan tigers are solitary animals, primarily hunting at night. Their diet mainly consists of deer, wild boar, and other small mammals. Unfortunately, they are classified as endangered due to habitat loss and poaching, making conservation efforts crucial for their survival.
