Mahabharata War
The Mahabharata War is a legendary conflict described in the ancient Indian epic, the Mahabharata. It took place between two groups of cousins, the Pandavas and the Kauravas, over the rightful claim to the throne of Hastinapura. The war lasted for 18 days and involved numerous warriors, divine interventions, and complex strategies.
The battle is significant not only for its scale but also for its moral and philosophical lessons. Key figures include Arjuna, a skilled archer from the Pandavas, and Krishna, who served as his charioteer and guide. The war ultimately led to the downfall of the Kauravas and the establishment of the Pandavas as rulers.
