Magnus I of Norway
Magnus I of Norway, also known as Magnus the Good, was a king who ruled from 1035 to 1047. He was the son of King Olaf II of Norway and became king after the death of his half-brother, King Harald Hardrada. Magnus is known for his efforts to unite Norway and for his campaigns in Denmark.
During his reign, Magnus sought to strengthen the monarchy and improve relations with neighboring countries. He is remembered for his military successes and for promoting Christianity in Norway. His reign ended when he died in 1047, after which he was succeeded by Harald Hardrada.
