Sigurd I of Norway
Sigurd I of Norway, also known as Sigurd the Crusader, was a king who ruled from 1103 to 1130. He was the first Norwegian king to go on a crusade, participating in the First Crusade and contributing to the establishment of Christian rule in the Holy Land. Sigurd's reign is noted for his efforts to strengthen the monarchy and expand Norway's influence.
During his rule, Sigurd I focused on consolidating power and promoting Christianity throughout Norway. He is remembered for his military campaigns and for fostering trade and cultural exchanges.
