Magnetic Coils
Magnetic coils are loops of wire that create a magnetic field when an electric current passes through them. They are commonly used in various applications, such as in electromagnets, transformers, and inductors. The strength of the magnetic field depends on the number of loops in the coil and the amount of current flowing through it.
These coils can be made from different materials, typically copper, due to its excellent conductivity. When wrapped around a core material, like iron, the magnetic field can be significantly enhanced. This property makes magnetic coils essential in many electronic devices and systems.
