Maggotts
Maggots are the larval stage of flies, particularly the common housefly. They are small, soft-bodied, and typically white or cream-colored. Maggots feed on decaying organic matter, which helps in the decomposition process. They play a crucial role in the ecosystem by breaking down waste and recycling nutrients back into the soil.
Maggots can be found in various environments, especially where there is rotting food or animal remains. While they are often associated with filth, they are also used in medical treatments for cleaning wounds, as they consume dead tissue without harming healthy cells.
