Magdalena Sibylle of Prussia was born on November 19, 1571, in Königsberg, Prussia. She was the daughter of Albert Frederick, Duke of Prussia and Marie Eleonore of Cleves. Magdalena Sibylle became the Duchess of Saxony through her marriage to Christian I, Duke of Saxony in 1589. As a member of the House of Hohenzollern, she played a significant role in the political landscape of her time. Magdalena Sibylle was known for her piety and support of the Lutheran Church. She passed away on February 25, 1620, in Dresden, Saxony.
