Madhhab
A "Madhhab" is a school of thought within Islam that provides guidelines for interpreting Sharia law. Each madhhab has its own methodologies and principles for understanding religious texts, leading to variations in legal rulings and practices among Muslims. The four most recognized Sunni madhhabs are Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali.
Madhhabs also play a significant role in shaping the cultural and religious practices of Muslim communities. While they share core beliefs, the differences in interpretation can influence daily life, rituals, and legal matters, allowing for a diverse expression of faith within the Islamic tradition.
