MICEX
The MICEX, or Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange, is a major financial market in Russia that facilitates the trading of various financial instruments, including stocks, bonds, and foreign currencies. Established in 1992, it plays a crucial role in the Russian economy by providing a platform for price discovery and liquidity.
In 2011, the MICEX merged with the Russian Trading System (RTS) to form the Moscow Exchange, which further expanded its capabilities and offerings. The exchange operates under strict regulations and is a key player in the development of Russia's financial markets, attracting both domestic and international investors.
