MAVEN
MAVEN, or the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN mission, is a space probe launched by NASA in 2013. Its primary goal is to study the Martian atmosphere and understand how it has changed over time. By analyzing the composition and structure of the atmosphere, MAVEN aims to uncover the processes that have led to the loss of water and other volatile compounds on Mars.
The spacecraft orbits Mars and collects data on atmospheric particles, solar wind interactions, and seasonal changes. MAVEN's findings help scientists learn more about the planet's climate history and its potential to support life, both in the past and possibly in the future.
