M94 Group
The M94 Group is a collection of galaxies located in the constellation Canes Venatici. It includes the prominent spiral galaxy M94, also known as NGC 4736, which is notable for its bright core and well-defined spiral arms. The group is part of the larger Virgo Supercluster and is approximately 15 million light-years away from Earth.
In addition to M94, the group contains several other galaxies, including NGC 4735 and NGC 4740. These galaxies are of interest to astronomers studying galaxy formation and evolution. The M94 Group provides valuable insights into the dynamics and interactions of galaxies within a cluster.
