M. G. Ramachandran
M. G. Ramachandran, commonly known as MGR, was a prominent Indian actor and politician. Born on January 17, 1917, in Kandy, Sri Lanka, he became a leading figure in the Tamil film industry during the 1950s and 1960s. MGR was known for his charismatic performances and his roles often depicted themes of social justice and heroism.
