Möbius strip
A Möbius strip is a surface with only one side and one edge, created by taking a rectangular strip of paper, giving it a half-twist, and then joining the ends together. This unique shape defies our usual understanding of dimensions, as it challenges the concept of inside and outside.
Mathematically, the Möbius strip is an example of a non-orientable surface, which means that if you travel along its surface, you can return to your starting point having flipped upside down. It has applications in various fields, including mathematics, art, and physics, often symbolizing infinity and continuity.
