Lutz Jump
The Lutz Jump is a figure skating jump that is classified as a toe jump. It is performed by taking off from one foot while using the toe pick of the opposite foot to assist in the leap. The skater rotates in the air, typically completing three and a half rotations before landing on the same foot from which they took off.
This jump is named after the German figure skater Alfred Lutz, who first executed it in the early 20th century. The Lutz Jump is considered one of the more challenging jumps in figure skating due to its required technique and timing.
