Lutetia
Lutetia, known today as Paris, was an ancient Roman city located on the banks of the Seine River in France. It was established in the 1st century BC and became an important settlement for the Roman Empire. The city featured typical Roman architecture, including baths, temples, and an amphitheater.
The name "Lutetia" is derived from the Latin word for "mud," reflecting the area's marshy landscape. Over time, it evolved into a significant urban center, eventually becoming the capital of France. Today, remnants of its Roman past can still be seen in various archaeological sites throughout Paris.
