Luis XVI
Louis XVI was the King of France from 1774 until his deposition in 1792. He was born on August 23, 1754, and became king at a young age. His reign was marked by financial difficulties, which led to widespread discontent among the French people.
In 1789, the French Revolution began, challenging the monarchy's authority. Louis XVI was eventually arrested and tried for treason. He was executed by guillotine on January 21, 1793, marking a significant turning point in French history and the end of absolute monarchy in France.
