Luis Fortuño
Luis Fortuño is a Puerto Rican politician and lawyer who served as the Governor of Puerto Rico from 2009 to 2012. He is a member of the New Progressive Party and has been involved in various political roles, including serving as the Resident Commissioner of Puerto Rico in the U.S. Congress from 2005 to 2009.
Fortuño was born on October 15, 1960, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He earned his law degree from Georgetown University and has worked in both public service and the private sector. His administration focused on economic reforms and addressing the island's financial challenges.
