Louise Michel
Louise Michel was a French schoolteacher, feminist, and anarchist born on May 29, 1830. She is best known for her role in the Paris Commune of 1871, where she became a prominent figure advocating for social justice and workers' rights. Michel was a passionate speaker and writer, using her talents to inspire others to fight for equality and freedom.
After the fall of the Paris Commune, Michel was arrested and exiled to New Caledonia for several years. Upon her return to France, she continued her activism, promoting anarchist ideas and women's rights until her death on January 9, 1905.
