Louise Élisabeth of France
Louise Élisabeth of France was born on May 14, 1763, and was a member of the French royal family. She was the daughter of Louis XV of France and Marie Leszczyńska. Louise Élisabeth became known for her artistic talents and was a skilled painter, often creating portraits and landscapes.
In 1770, she married Louis Philippe II, Duke of Orléans, which connected her to the influential Orléans family. Louise Élisabeth played a significant role in the cultural life of her time, hosting salons that brought together artists and intellectuals. She passed away on February 4, 1794.
