Louis de Gonzague
Louis de Gonzague was a French nobleman born in 1568, known for his deep religious devotion and commitment to the Catholic faith. He was a member of the House of Gonzaga, a prominent family in Italy, and became a Jesuit at a young age. His life was marked by a strong sense of duty and service to others.
He is often celebrated for his piety and dedication to helping the poor and sick. Louis de Gonzague died in 1591 at the age of 23 from an illness contracted while caring for plague victims. He was canonized as a saint by the Catholic Church in 1726.
