Louis de Bourbon, Duke of Montpensier
Louis de Bourbon, Duke of Montpensier (1623-1687), was a French nobleman and a member of the prominent Bourbon family. He was the son of Henri de Bourbon, Prince of Condé and Charlotte de La Trémoille. Montpensier played a significant role in the political and military affairs of France during the 17th century, particularly during the Fronde, a series of civil wars in France.
