Louis X of Bavaria
Louis X of Bavaria was a king of France who reigned from 1314 to 1316. He was the son of Philip IV of France and Joan I of Navarre. Louis was known for his attempts to strengthen royal authority and improve the administration of justice. His reign was marked by conflicts with the nobility and issues related to the French economy.
Louis X was also known as "Louis the Quarreler" due to his contentious nature. He was the first French king to issue a decree abolishing serfdom in his domains. His reign was short-lived, as he died unexpectedly in 1316, leaving behind a young son, John I of France.
