Louis III of Luxembourg
Louis III of Luxembourg was a Grand Duke of Luxembourg who reigned from 1890 until his death in 1912. He was born on August 5, 1838, and was the son of Adolphe, Grand Duke of Luxembourg. Louis III was known for his efforts to modernize the Grand Duchy and improve its infrastructure.
During his reign, Louis III faced various challenges, including political tensions and economic issues. He was a supporter of the Luxembourgish language and culture, promoting national identity. His reign ended when he passed away on January 25, 1912, and he was succeeded by his son, William IV.
