Louis Antoine de Bourbon
Louis Antoine de Bourbon, also known as the Duke of Enghien, was a French nobleman born in 1772. He was a member of the royal family, specifically a descendant of the House of Bourbon, which ruled France for centuries. Louis Antoine was known for his military career and his involvement in the royalist cause during the turbulent times of the French Revolution.
In 1804, he was captured by Napoleon Bonaparte's forces and executed, which sparked outrage among royalists and supporters of the Bourbon dynasty. His death is often seen as a symbol of the conflict between the monarchy and the emerging republican ideals in France.
