Lotte Reiniger
Lotte Reiniger was a pioneering German filmmaker known for her innovative work in silhouette animation. Born on June 2, 1899, she created the first full-length animated feature film, titled The Adventures of Prince Achmed, in 1926. Her unique technique involved cutting intricate figures from black cardboard and animating them against illuminated backgrounds.
