Lost Boy of Sudan
The "Lost Boys of Sudan" refers to a group of over 20,000 boys who were displaced during the Second Sudanese Civil War, which lasted from 1983 to 2005. These boys, many of whom were orphaned or separated from their families, undertook a perilous journey to escape violence and seek safety in neighboring countries like Ethiopia and Kenya.
In Kenya, many of the Lost Boys lived in refugee camps, where they faced challenges such as limited resources and education. Eventually, some were resettled in countries like the United States, where they sought to rebuild their lives and share their stories of survival and resilience.
