Lories
Lories are small, colorful parrots belonging to the family Loriidae. They are primarily found in the tropical forests of Australia, New Guinea, and surrounding islands. Known for their vibrant plumage, lories have a specialized diet that mainly consists of nectar, fruits, and flowers, which they consume using their unique brush-tipped tongues.
These birds are social and often live in flocks, making them lively and interactive pets. Lories are known for their playful behavior and can mimic sounds, although they are not as proficient at talking as some other parrot species.
