Lord Stanley's Cup
Lord Stanley's Cup is the championship trophy awarded annually to the National Hockey League (NHL) playoff winner. Named after Frederick Arthur Stanley, the Governor General of Canada who donated the trophy in 1892, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious trophies in professional sports.
The Cup is made of silver and nickel alloy and stands about 35.25 inches tall. It features a unique design, with a bowl at the top and several bands that represent the winning teams. Each year, the names of the players, coaches, and staff of the winning team are engraved on the trophy.
