Long-tailed Jaeger
The Long-tailed Jaeger is a seabird belonging to the family Stercorariidae. It is known for its distinctive long tail feathers, which can be up to 30 centimeters long. This bird is primarily found in the Arctic regions during the breeding season and migrates to the southern oceans in winter.
Long-tailed Jaegers are skilled hunters, often preying on fish and stealing food from other birds, a behavior known as kleptoparasitism.
