Locri Epizephyrii
Locri Epizephyrii was an ancient Greek city located in southern Italy, near the modern town of Locri. Founded by settlers from Locri in Greece, it thrived during the 7th century BCE. The city was known for its strategic coastal position and its involvement in trade and cultural exchanges with neighboring regions.
The city is notable for its well-preserved ruins, including the Temple of Persephone, which showcases the architectural style of the time.
