Lobes
Lobes are distinct sections of an organ or structure, often found in the brain, lungs, and liver. In the brain, there are four main lobes: the frontal lobe, responsible for decision-making and problem-solving; the parietal lobe, which processes sensory information; the temporal lobe, involved in memory and hearing; and the occipital lobe, responsible for vision.
In the lungs, there are lobes that help facilitate breathing. The right lung has three lobes, while the left lung has two, allowing for space for the heart. Each lobe contains smaller units called lobules, which further assist in gas exchange.
