Loaches
Loaches are a diverse group of freshwater fish belonging to the family Cobitidae. They are commonly found in rivers and streams across Asia and Europe. Known for their elongated bodies and barbels around their mouths, loaches are often bottom-dwellers, feeding on small invertebrates and detritus.
These fish are popular in the aquarium trade due to their unique behaviors and peaceful nature. Some species, like the Yoyo Loach and Clown Loach, are particularly favored for their striking patterns and active swimming. Loaches can also help maintain a clean tank by scavenging leftover food and algae.
