Clown Loach
The Clown Loach (Chromobotia macracanthus) is a freshwater fish native to the rivers of Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia and Malaysia. Known for its striking orange and black stripes, this species can grow up to 12 inches long. Clown Loaches are popular in home aquariums due to their playful behavior and social nature, often seen swimming in groups.
These fish thrive in well-planted tanks with plenty of hiding spots, as they prefer a habitat that mimics their natural environment. Clown Loaches are also known for their ability to produce a unique sound by rubbing their scales together, which adds to their charm as aquarium inhabitants.
